Here are some answers to questions I
frequently get asked. If only there was an acronym for
that...anyway:
Q: Where do I ship my repair to?
A: After carefully packing your board in a strong box with
lots of bubble wrap and foam peanuts, please send it to:
Chad Entringer
1233 Emilie St
Green Bay, WI 54301
Q: Do I need to send you the neck board and remote board
with the chassis?
A: Yes, over and over again customers forget to send their
remote board. Not only may I not have one readily available.
It may be causing monitor troubles.
Q: Should I send you my whole monitor tube.
A: Under rare circumstances only. Such as if you are
requiring a tube rejuvenation or if I do not have a
tube/yoke setup to bench your boards. Some guys send in
there entire 15" G05 tubes since its caged nice and smaller.
Q: I'm afraid I may break something. Any special way to
pack my monitor chassis?
A: Bubble wrap, foam, filler, tight so nothing shakes
around. Most importantly use a strong box.. something that
will withstand stacked pressure. worn shabby boxes will
buckle and cave in.
Q: After you receive my board, when will I have it back?
A: Its common to have your board fixed within 4 days of
arrival. Even same day turn around happens!
Q: What method do you receive payment?
A: You may pay with paypal.com, money order or personal
check. You can pay before the job is done or when its
repaired and ready to ship. You may use the paypal.com
hotlink on the main page. What I do prefer most, is a
personal check or money order included with your repair
order.
Q: How do I discharge a monitor before removing the
suction cup thing (anode)?
A: Here is a link to a good write up on discharging crts->

Worried? Don't be. Why? Because:
"Hi Chad I received the board
Friday as promised. I installed the board and it worked perfect.
I just want to thank you. You notified me when you received the board,
kept me up to date on the progress and notified me when it was finished
and shipped. A very good and professional experience. Thanks
again Chad"
-Steve Epperson Sterling Heights MI
"Wow again! Thanks for the complete details on everything! If
I have any trouble in the future you'll be the first to know. Thanks
again."
-Brian Brigman, Naperville, IL
"Thanks Chad. I really appreciate
the quick turnaround and the great communication! Have a great weekend!"
-Ben Wagner, Fort Collins Co.
"Chad, thanks for fixing the KI board, I installed it and its
working fine. I will definitely do business again in the future.
thanks a lot man." -Ron, Round Lake Beach, IL
So I see that you sent this back
already. Curious, what happened to be wrong with this board? Thanks
again, you have lived up to your reputation."
-Steve Castle, Suwanee, GA
"got it, it works, thanks for the super fast work"
-Andy Rosa, Flushing Mi
"That worked! Oh, thank you so much Chad. You have been hugely professional
in this whole ordeal, from answering every question I had, to keeping
my updated on your progress, to even catching the ONE little goof that
you made. I truly appreciate all the work you've done."
-Jim, Pittsburg, KS
"Hello, Chad. Just wanted to give
you the head’s up that I got the chassis’s the other day and put the
one with the new flyback back together last night. Works perfect!
Haven’t had a chance to test the other since it’s a spare but I’m confident
that one will work fine, too. Just wanted to say thanks for the quality
work. I bought a “substitute” chassis quite awhile back for a WG that
just doesn’t compare to having the original board. Thanks
again"
-Andy, Essex Junction, VT
"Cool! You are becoming my hero you know that?
Last Sunday I got around to dropping the other 6100 you repaired back
into my Tempest and wired it up.
When that thing lit up and went into the test pattern, I almost
wept. I haven't touched a *real* Tempest in probably near 18
years. It's so cool to play it again like it was meant to be.
Great feeling! Thanks for the good work."
